Mission
Ashok Memorial Foundation is a registered Canadian society, aiming to promote cancer awareness as well as its research. By fundraising we hope to support new scientific research on causes and prevention of cancer and not just finding a cure.
BC Children Hospital Donation
On November 30th 2011, Ashok Memorial Foundation presented a cheque for $17,560.00 to BC Children's Hospital. This contribution will aid in the purchase of Oximeters for the Cancer Ward of the hospital. This equipment is valuable for those children who have undergone a bone marrow transplant and is needed to monitor an epidural or Pain Control Analgesia (PCA) post-operatively. Epidurals and PCAs are a way to dispense medication via a pump attached to an intravenous line which is inserted into the child. Tax receipts should be in the mail shortly.

Our annual AMT event is scheduled for August 11th 2012. More details will follow as we get closer to the date.
